Wireless digital 4K box only has 4:3 aspect ratio only.

We have recently had fibre optic come to our town. We signed up to Optik TV, we have 1 4K pvr, 1 4k hard wired box and 1 arris wireless 4K box. The wireless box only displays 4:3 aspect ratio even though it is set to 1080p, it's not the tv as it displays 16:9 using the Roku on HDMI 2. This is the 2nd Wireless box we have had as the 1st had to be rebooted every 4-6 hours, it was 4:3 as well. How can a 4K box just be SD? that's not 4K.

I'm assuming you have gone through the settings to ensure there is not a mis-applied setting in there somewhere?

Yes I have tried every HD option in the aspect ratio setting, and every one of them gives me 4:3 the same as the SD option. Even the zoom and stretch keep it 4:3 and not 16:9 (my main tv these options make SD picture into 16:9 sort of).To have an aspect ratio of 4:3 and call the box 4K is a bit misleading.
