Can't access all my subscribed Optik TV channels when away from my home.

I have a Telus home account and receive home phone, Internet and TV services including Optik TV on that account. I also have a separate Telus Smart Hub that I use for wifi and to access Optik TV at the lake. At the lake I am unable to watch some channels such as MSNBC and TCM because their access is apparently restricted to my home account only. Is there some way that I can change my settings or pay an additional fee in order to access those blocked channels?

It's annoying but some broadcasters are not allowing subscribers to access those channels when away from home. At present there isn't a way around it.

The only way to do it is to access your home network over a VPN. You would need to know how to set one up.
