Hello,
I was just setting up a new phone and there were multiple data charges placed on my account even though my plan is Nationwide Talk and Text 15, which doesn't include data. The charges have totaled $64.93, which drained all the money I had prepaid to my account over a span of about thirty minutes. I had no idea that data was being used and I had no option to disable this before I completed setup.
So my question is, how can I go about getting all of this money refunded back to my account? Also, how can I make sure that my phone will no longer use any data at all? My phone runs Android 13. Is turning the "Mobile data" quick-access button off all I need to do, or is there something more I need to do?
Please help me with this.
Thanks!

For Android phones, you can typically disable cellular data by tapping on:
Then toggle Mobile data off.
I've sent you a private message regarding the data charges 🙂
