I'm a newbie when it comes to telus and the way they manage emails. I spent a good 2 hours on the phone with an agent who tried to set up my email address (telus.net). it looks like an alias was created but there is no way to access it via webmail. any suggestions? anyone else have this issue with a new account?

1) all your emails, no matter the alias should come to one webmail address.
2) what webmail are you using? If through the Google G-Suite web interface, you should have one particular email address and password to use. The old Telus.net email allowed you to access with a number of aliases, and a single password.

google webmail worked. the trick was to reset the password via MyTelus and login with the alias at http://mail.google.com/
not sure why the tech support agent would suggest webmail.telus.net
