I get the same for my mobility account. The trash can button is very easy to push.
Given the number of folks who make late payment, I expect the notification has value, and setting an exception for those of us with a positive balance is deemed unnecessary .

The problem was, that was all I originally got (no invoice). Hours on the phone finally got Telus to send a paper invoice, but the useless emails persisted. Then the contract expired, and another few hours on the phone got a new contract at a reasonable price. But much to my surprize, the paper invoices stopped. More phone hours to get them started again, and the useless emails continued. So the next contract (more phone hours) I wouldn't hang up until it was verified that the paper invoices would continue.

Definitely odd that the emails don't have any information. If you haven't been able to get through to our team for assistance, feel free to send us a private message and we can look in to it.

I found the source of the problem. Analyzing the Telus email in detail (including the header) showed there were 2 sections, a "text/plain" section and a "text/html" section. The "text/html" section contains the detail, but the "text/plain" section does not. By default, my email client displays the "text/plain" section. The Telus response was:
"And to be clear if you login using a different client you will see the email just fine?"
If Telus did not want me to use the "text/plain" section, then why did they provide it?

Hi @couttsj - Unfortunately we don't support third party email clients. If you are able to see the email through another email client that does support HTML, we recommend you use that to view our emails.
Otherwise you can just log in to My TELUS and avoid the email altogether.

Nobody is asking you to support my email client. You haven't from day 1, and I don't expect you to start now. I would however expect Telus to provide standardized email output.
