Anyone getting "your bill is overdue" notification on the mytelus app when in fact it is paid up in full.

Very confusing as I generally pay my bill as soon as statement is available.

Hey @exTelusEmp - could be a bug. Is this happening every month?

Because of your post I logged in to make sure my notifications were working since I have not seen any such notification. However I also found an email in my inbox telling me my bank account is overdrawn. Looked very real. Instead of clicking on the link which looked legit I logged in as I normally do.

Beware, do not click on the notification, log in as you would normally do and check that way.

@exTelusEmp, yes, I have seen this. There is an overlap from when the bill is issued to your current due date (actually due date from the previous bill). What happens is that the new bill is issued but the due date is still populated from your previous bill so the system thinks you haven't paid. You will only see this if you go in too quickly once your new bill is posted to the account. The issue corrects itself rather quickly, nothing to be concerned with.

Today I got notified I owe $44. The Telus app on my phone opens to my cell phone bill so when I opened to look I had to find my way to the linked Optik account to see what it was for. If you read my thread on topic, credits went missing from my bill so I refuse to pay and then fight them to correct. Next month I expect another $44 added until accounting wakes up. I would wecome a trip to small claims court to explain it to the judge.
