Extending internet contract so it ends at same time as tv contract?

For example, if my internet contract ends in March 2025 but my TV contract ends in March 2026, can I easily extend the internet contract to March 2026, so they end at the same time? Can I do that online somehow? I don't want to add another 2 years to the internet one.

I believe you can just go month to month on your Internet at the same rate at the end of the contract. Contact support and ask as there may be particulars in your specific contract to consider.

Price would go up if off contract, which I don't want. That's the point of a contract. I want internet and tv contracts in sync and ending at the same time.   I'm trying not to have to call in and wait for hours. I don't know if the online chat agents can do what I'm wanting, so I ask here maybe someone from telus knows.

The different end dates are because I signed up for TV a year later.  If it is more than just clicking a few buttons to add 1 year to the internet contract so it ends at the same time as the TV one then maybe I should just wait until I'm closer to the contract end date next year.  Last time I used the online agent they said they didn't have the same access that telephone agents did. But waiting on the phone just takes so much longer for what should be an easy process.

Thanks for clarifying. It's definitely not as simple as adjusting the dates; if there is a year gap there will likely be some fees involved for bringing the newer account in-line with the older one. You're right in that it may be more ideal to wait until the older contract runs its course first.
