Can I enable the Europe Easy Roam Pass weeks before I travel and it will only activate when I'm in Europe or do I have to wait to enable it just before our departure for Europe?

7-day Passes:  customers have 30 days from activation to use the pass.

14-day Passes: customers have 30 days from activation to start using the pass.

30-day Passes: customers have 45 days from activation to start using the pass.

You can enable the Europe Easy Roam Pass before you travel, and it will only activate once you arrive in Europe and use your device (make a call, send a text, or use data). There's no need to wait until just before departure.

thank you. A Telus chat agent told me otherwise. Didn’t seem to make much sense. 

Will the 30 day charges start the day you enable the service or for the day it is “activated” ?
