I just transferred to TELUS after receiving a call from TELUS with a really good deal, saying they would take care of the installations, cancellation of the SHAW account, cover the cost of the fees for breaking a contract with Shaw.
I have yet to hear anything about returning my old SHAW equipment and just received a bill.
I called TELUS and was told that I have to call Shaw and cancel the account and submit the fees to them for reimbursement.
there website even states they will do all the work for you Switch to TELUS | TELUS
The person on the phone was no help and although I might have been a little nicer (I will admit I was getting mad because I wasn't getting the service I was promised), he was also rude and absolutely no help.
I am not sure what my next steps are but I am very close to cancelling TELUS and staying with Shaw.

In the end I decided to not stay with Telus as I didn’t get what I was promised. Maybe it seems small for me to not keep it over what was stated on a website for customers in B.C. and Alberta but honestly it was a deal breaker for me.
