I have the Boost6, i've been able to log into the admin ip and what not but i can't figure out first of, how to decipher what devices im looking at (mac addresses) and moreover how to restrict or time gate specific devices. basically i want to know if i can control specific rooms in my house that have ethernet jacks or if im only able to control the wifi through my router login in. and if i can, how the hell do i do that? any help is appreciated.
thanks

Without knowing the specifics of what you want to do I would be looking at the Telus Connect app to manage your home network. This may be useful:

Ethernet jacks can't be individually controlled through the router itself. No residential router that I know of has that feature. You can get a physical kill switch for individual lines but you would need to physically flip the switch. Their reliability is unknown.
Wifi is controllable to a point but there are caveats. One big problem you will experience is devices changing their MAC addresses on their own. This means that if you restrict one MAC address and the device switches to a different one, the restrictions would no longer apply. Windows 10 and 11 both give the option to rotate or change the MAC or hardware address when connecting. Many cell phones and tablets also have the same feature.
