Cannot send emails since migration

I have no problem with incoming mails, but when I attempted to send an email to myself at a gmail address from my Telus mail site, the email appears to send, but when i check my incoming mail at the gmail address it never arrives. I have been receiving notifications on my PC Telus mail website that "Your Telus account settings are out of date" Would this have anything to do with the issue, and, if so, how do I fix it?

Are you using the web interface, or a mail application? If you are using the web interface, there should be no issues, but an application will need to have the SMTP server set correctly for mail to send.
