Netflix on TELUS - September 2021

Hope everyone's doing well! Summer is coming to a close, and the days are getting shorter...but that isn't stopping NETFLIX from bringing the heat in September! There are a bunch of amazing new original shows and movies dropping next month, including a movie that I've been waiting for months to check out since I first heard about it. Let's take a look at what's headed our way!

Coming To NETFLIX in September

• September 3 - Money Heist (Season 5: Part 1)
  • The Spanish cult hit returns for the first half of the final season.
• September 10 - Kate
  • Highly anticipated action thriller about a poisoned assassin with 24 hours left to live.
• September 10 - Lucifer (Season 6)
  • Final season of the Tom Ellis led detective series where he plays the devil.

Most Anticipated

Kate

I. Cannot. Wait. For this. Movie. Ever since hearing of the premise and cast, I've been waiting to watch Kate for the longest time and it's finally almost here! Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey) stars in this against-the-clock thriller as an assassin who, after years of perfect assignments, realizes she's been poisoned by one of her targets. With 24 hours left to live, she must partner with the teenage daughter of a past victim in a race to get revenge...and find an antidote!

How incredible does that look? It looks like NETFLIX has their first blockbuster of the fall season, and I sincerely hope this turns into the next smash action universe in the vein of the amazing John Wick series. There's a ton of places this could go, and I'm hoping this isn't the last we see of Kate. Also starring the always-entertaining Woody Harrelson, Kate drops September 10 and it's going to be awesome!

Tattoo Redo

You're in for a treat with this series. Six episodes of hilarity await you with the first season of Tattoo Redo, and the show is about...well, exactly what you think it is. People with regrettable (and I mean regrettable) tattoos are given the chance to get coverups and hide their mistakes. The beautiful twist of this series is that the friend or family member that nominated and brought in the person with the tattoo gets to be the one that decides what new coverup tattoo is going in its place!

Like I said...you're in for a treat. It's always awesome to see the final tattoo reveals, and with the always hilarious stand up comedian Jessimae Peluso as the host, you're also in for some serious laughs. I just wish there were more episodes, as I burned through all six in a matter of a weekend. Definitely worth your time for the laughs here, folks. All six episodes of Tattoo Redo are now streaming on NETFLIX. Check it out!
