Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well, and getting ready for the summer! June is right around the corner and Netflix isn't wasting any time getting into its busiest release season. Remember, it's never been easier to add Netflix to your Optik TV package, and you can see how to do that at our website!

You can also subscribe to Netflix as part of our awesome Stream+ package to get Netflix Premium, Apple TV+ and discovery+ all at a discounted rate!

Let's take a look at some of the highly anticipated titles streaming in June as well as what I'm hooked on now!

Coming To Netflix in June

  • June 2 - Manifest (Season 4 - Part 2)
    • The sci-fi drama thriller about the fated airline passengers comes to its dramatic end.
  • June 16 - Extraction 2
    • Chris Hemsworth returns as mercenary Tyler Rake to undertake another high-stakes mission.
  • June 29 - The Witcher (Season 3 - Part 1)
    • The first half of Henry Cavill's final season as Geralt of Rivia debuts.

Most Anticipated

The Witcher (Season 3 - Part 1)

After a long year and a half wait, Henry Cavill returns as the heroic Geralt of Rivia in the first part of the new season of The Witcher. While it's Cavill's last season in the leading role (Liam Hemsworth is on deck to continue the portrayal), he's sure to go out with a bang. The Witcher is based on the world famous video game series, and few adaptations have managed to capture the deep essence and scope of the source material as beautifully. This season looks to ramp things up even more.

Picking up shortly after season 2's stunning finale, more people than ever are trying to capture Ciri. Together with Geralt and Yennefer as her protectors, she must avoid multiple warring factions that are after her. Last season we finally got our first glimpse of the Wild Hunt (a group of mystical godlike elves scouring the universe to take slaves) and hopefully this new season has more of them in it! If you're a fan of other epic medieval series such as Game of Thrones or a fan of the video game series, don't miss it when the first batch of new episodes drop on Netflix. June 29th. Be there!

What I'm Watching Now

FUBAR (Season 1)

The highly anticipated FUBAR dropped last week and I'm already hooked! I've only managed to get through a few episodes but it definitely lives up to the hype. In his first major TV project, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a highly classified CIA operative named Luke coming to terms with his impending retirement. His daughter Emma (Top Gun: Maverick's Monica Barbaro) is a CIA operative as well, working on advancing her own career. What neither knows however is the truth about the other! Once Luke and Emma both find out each other actually works for the CIA, things quickly spiral out of control.

With a star-studded cast also including the hilarious Fortune Feimster and Tom Arnold (a True Lies connection!), you know you're in for a treat. I was hoping when this was announced that it'd have the True Lies vibe...over-the-top action and suspense with a ton of comedy. And FUBAR delivers! Schwarzenegger is naturally a hilarious actor and nobody does action with jokes like he can. It's a great storyline with Luke being dragged back into the field for one last important mission while juggling the new revelation about his daughter. Be sure to check out the first season, streaming now on Netflix!
