Can someone explain how this works? I am not so tech savvy this is the response from someone looking into the dropped call issue
From telus:
Our network team have spotted interference around the surrounding area, possibly caused by boosters , which is affecting services for users in the area. External interference can unfortunately appear/disappear unpredictably and without notice
question:
Is the solution to get a booster (looks like we boost sells boosters or does telus provide?) is that what others are doing ? Are other subscribers boosters causing me to have low connection?

3 months agoHi! It seems that may be the case, it would be recommended to buy a booster to strengthen connection. https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/boost-wi-fi-installation-guide

I already have the boost wifi inside my home that does not help with the call issue. I was thinking more of something like this to boost the cell signal

I see, I'm not too sure on if the weboost home device wou.ld help with the cell signal. Have you had the chance to replace your sim card?

My new phone did not come with a sim as it works off of an eSIM. Can you clarify why a physical SIM card could help with reception on calls?
