Telus Rewards - Can't Redeem Points Because of Account Update?
I can't redeem any of my points because the pop up says my account is being updated. I haven't changed anything and there doesn't seem to be any helpful options online. Anyone experience this and have luck getting it rectified?

I'm running into the same problem as dgomez, trying to redeem a reward but it says:
Due to a recent update in your contact information you are temporarily unable to redeem this item.
Been trying for a couple days, and haven't changed any of my contact information in over a year, so it's really strange that it's giving me that error.- TELUS_Support

Been trying to redeem my reward points for a couple days now and keep getting the message:
"Due to a recent update in your contact information you are temporarily unable to redeem this item."
I haven't changed my phone number or any info on my primary telus account in over a year, so what gives? Why isn't it working?- TELUS_Support

Hi! Have you tried redeeming through incognito mode? clearing cache and cookies?

I just tried to redeem points for a gift card. Got this message:
Due to a recent update in your contact information you are temporarily unable to redeem this item. I don't remember changing anything.

I have not had any problems with redemption. Just redeemed for two rewards before the deadline. My problem is that I am missing points on one of my accounts because Telus never credited them to my account despite confirming on each bill that I earned them.

The only thing I've done with the account is one of my lines had to have Visual Voicemail deleted and re-added to get it working. Nothing else has changed with the account. This happened a week ago. I have more than enough points to get a $100 Uber gift card, but now it's "sold out" (which seems silly, since it's a virtual item!). If Telus support is able to help me, I'd be greatly appreciative

Hi mikema1701 - if the item is not in-stock then you may need to wait for the item to be available again. We are able to run out of virtual cards for many reasons such as vendor inventory running out or the discontinuation of the product.
We are not saying that's the case but just wanted to highlight some possible causes

Telus support I have had the same problem for month now and no one has been able to help fix it. Would appreciate if you could help clear this error.

I have been trying to redeem my rewards for a few weeks and keep getting the message thst my account information is being updated. I didn't make any changes to my account. I tried to call, but couldn't stay on hold for an hour. It seems I am not the only one with this problem. Please help!
