I got a cold call from Telus offering me a great price on a cell phone plan and the smart home security system. I'm having issues with both, but as for the security system...
The outdoor camera worked great for almost two days...and now it refuses to connect to any network. I went through a battery of tests with phone support trying to reconnect it, but it won't join my strong wifi network (98% strength on the camera's own scan). My garage door opener on the same network works just fine. Support offered to send a tech out for a $175 fee. On a brand new system. Is this seriously my only option? I asked for the call to be escalated, and the rep scheduled me for a callback today - two hours ago. No call.
This has been a really frustrating way to start my switch to Telus.

No. I’m still waiting for an escalation manager callback. And my camera us still dead!
