Wireless Optik TV not connecting

I recently installed a DECO mesh system, but my wireless Optik TV could not complete the wifi paring. However, it worked fine when I wired the TV box with an ethernet cable. Is it possible the wireless Optik TV only works with Telus wifi booster? Is there a way that I can connect the wireless TV box without the Telus booster?

You need the Telus router in place for the wireless Optik set top box to work. As discussed before on the forums here, Deco, like nearly all third party routers, is NOT compatible with Optik TV.
