Hello everyone, this is more of a fix than a question that I want to share with everyone as lots of customers may face this issue. I put my Telus modem into bridge mode and am using my own Nighthawk AX3000 wireless router. Then I connected the Optik PVR to a LAN port on my router and got a signal right away. Problem, Optik TV receivers and PVR lose signal every few seconds (even though the signal strength from my router shows full bars). If this happens, check the advanced settings on your private router. Make sure you 'enable' IGMP proxying and also check your LAN settings for RIP. I set mine to RIP direction = both, RIP version = RIP_2M. The fix is all about multicast traffic.
This worked like a charm for me, hope this helps other people, don't give up on your own bridged router!
