TV Aspect Ratio is Square

Hi, my TV is connected to my Optik TV Box via an HDMI cable. When going to the settings and then the aspect ratio on the TV box, 1080p is selected. When going to 1 specific channel, the channel's aspect ratio is square (or close to square). This results in black bars on the two sides of the TV. All other channels are showing the full 16:9 aspect ratio, it's only that specific one. At first, I thought it may have been that specific channel, but when going to my other TV with the same setup, it's the full 16:9 ratio. Of course, some of the picture is cut off on the fullscreen one, but I'd rather have that than two bars on either side. Is there any way to change the aspect ratio of a specific channel, so that a square picture becomes enlarged?
