Telus mobility signal connection always has only 1 bar in Richmond BC

It has been for years with my old phone (s9) that the signal connection for regular cellphone service was always in 2 bars. About half a year ago I upgraded my phone (s23) now the signal connection is even worse often only has 1 bar.
My friends have problems hearing from me. Saying my voice constantly got cut off. What is going on with Telus Mobility?

To add to what FuzzyLogic said, you could also try to disable your 5G connection and go to LTE to see if maybe that's the issue. Please report your issues though!
