sold a deal and Telus wont follow through

So we were offered a deal that consisted of a Google Pixel cell phone which included a free Pixel smart watch. 

When I queried the offer they assured me that once the phones were ordered they would issue the watches once they knew the EMEI number of the cell phones. 

 

This made me un-easy but I was sent an email confirming my deal to follow up with if there were any issues. 

 

Well I had to follow up, I was then told there were no watches and they would offer me $50 credit, well I dont know a single smart watch that carries a value of $50. I was then offered a samsung watch but It would cost me $15 per month and that I was to be reasonable with my expectations. 

 

My expectation is very simple, I expect them to eat the cost of me buying a pixel smart watch or get me a pixel smart watch. 

 

I ordered 3 of this deal so I am owed 3 watches, simple. 

 

I am not letting this go, mis selling a product in unacceptable and I want a resolution please.

Same thing happened to me. I spent close to $3k on pixel watches and I’ve taken it to CCTS as a complaint and asked for reimbursement. I am beyond angry. This isn’t even the only issue I’ve had. 

Ive never heard of the CCTS so I will look into that too, I simply do not want to let this drop. I am tempted to look into how to get this onto social media see how many others they have mis sold. I hate social media from that point of view but at the same time bad PR seems to be the only thing the bigger companies react to.

Im upset about the watches, upset that the phones are pretty poor and I am not even going to go into the fact that their network coverage is below par compared to what I had, although those choices I made, but I wouldnt have made the choices if the watches were not offered as part of the deal!! 

It was very easy and straightforward to submit the complaint. if you recorded your calls with the service rep those are helpful to reference. If not, still provide the dates/times if you are able.

Thanks for that, I was smart enough to take alot of the chat to emails so that they can be saved off, although naive enough to not record the calls as I thought it was a very straight forward oversight that they could quickly resolve. My mistake.
