Do I need to dial 011 plus 1 then the 10 digit number to call the US from Canada? Using "1" then the 10 digit phone number has worked before, now the calls just drop, same for the toll-free number.
I think it depends on the number you are calling. I believe toll free numbers work with just the 1 and the 10 digit number. Other numbers would require 011, 1 and the 10 digit numbers.
