LandLine has dial tone but failed to make call
My landline start to have problem two days ago. The symptom is the phone do have a dial tone but failed to make a call out. For incoming call, the other end will only hear a high frequency pitch sound like fax tone and no voice can go through. The phone is connected to the pots1 of the Nokia Ont. and the landline is only activated 2-3 weeks ago. Any help is appreciated.
After talking to Telus support, he advised me to reboot the Nokia ONT and everything works normal again !

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the details. That definitely sounds frustrating, especially since your landline was just recently activated.
