Ordered an iPhone 16 on Dec 1st. Expected to ship Dec 6th. No update on my order since then. Agent called me two hours ago today to verify my identity and kept insisting he needed a "POE" with my maiden name on it since the order was placed under my maiden name (it is what is still on my Telus account). I wasn't sure what POE meant, and after some back and forth he says he has to cancel my order and I have to place another order under my married name since my paystub doesn't match the account name. (Note I have already used a EPP discount on this account before - my current internet plan!)
I expressed concern because the order is already delayed, but he insisted it would be automatically approved this time and then he hung up before I could ask any more questions. I am not even able to place another order because it was a special limited time EPP discount I was offered that is no longer available!
I called back immediately and waited over an hour until I connected with a different agent. Briefly explained the situation and that I didn't want my order cancelled. She looked up my order, said to give her a moment to look into the details, and then after a minute of silence she also hung up on me!!
I'm flabbergasted. This iPhone is a birthday gift for my husband and his birthday is tomorrow. Not only has it been delayed but now it has been cancelled, which is NOT what I want! I can't get through to anybody to have this resolved.. what do I do?!
