Hi,
I have been a Telus subscriber for the past 4 years. Recently, I signed up for a new contract for tv and internet. I chose to end the contract less than 24 hours later due to my circumstances. In part it was due to not being told that I was signing 2 contracts during the phone call. I specifically asked how much I would be charged and they stated that it would be $15/mo. The other reason is that I genuinely want to cut out my services.
Due to my choice, and yes, I'm aware I chose to cancel, I'm being charged $720 for ending the contract.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? This seems fairly heartless of an organization. How can they say they claim to have lost $720? It's ridiculous.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions with how to fix this situation it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
