So nearly 2 years in using the TelusTV-21T STB and still waaaay behind the competition in basic functionality! I'm a very infrequent poster these days 'banging my head against the wall' hurts 😆
Hard to believe TELUS STILL cannot record across channels.... Sports fans in particular are effected. So my latest missed event 'F1 Grand Prix' which can, and does shift across one of the 5 TSN channels...
Deal breaker for me after 2 years. If my TV system (STILL) cannot record a 'Series' across channels then it's worthless to me. It isn't a series recording if it can only record on 1 set channel.
I don't expect it will improve in my remaining few weeks of TELUS TV, nor a response from TELUS of anything useful. Maybe a 'we will pass that onto support and let you know when we get a response', so that's never then... LOL. But go ahead TELUS, surprise me!
I wonder if the decrease in TELUS stock of nearly 40% over the past 2 years has got anything to do with this dismal system and the hoards of users leaving as their contracts expire???

For recordings:
If Telus 3rd party developers deliver this .. I will be happy and give a high five.
1st, this is the most important development feature and should be at the top of their backlog.
2nd is ability to modify start and end times.
3rd is to record first occurance of a program on any channel. <- 1, 2 and 3 would be heaven.

Yeah. I've been hearing that same response for the last 2 years on this and many other issues.
Should have been active and working before it was released.
It's little more than many other internet subscription based TV services.
Like many others, I won't be renewing my TV subscription. Just about a month left - 😁
