We are having issues logging into my father's Telus email account.
He's been using the Windows Mail app, but now has to log into a different app because they are discontinuing Mail.
Everytime we try and log in via gmail, it requires two factor authentication (i.e. a text or phone call to the number associated with the account). The problem is, the phone number associated with the account is an old cell phone number that no longer belongs to us. Does anybody know how to remedy this problem? When we click "I don't have this phone anymore," it says to contact the domain admin.
Any advice/help would be appreciated, thank you.

I believe you will need to do an account recovery:
