Just Moved In

We were convinced by 2 Telus salespeople to switch from Shaw to Telus. They offered a lot of incentives and assured us that the total monthly amount for TV, security and internet would be much less than Shaw.  They also told us that changing our email address would be very easy (which it was NOT), and that they would take care of the outstanding amount of the contract with Shaw, with no problem.  They asked for our Shaw account number and again assured us that Telus would take care of it. 

 

As of now, I have been on hold with Telus more than 6 hours with no resolution.  They do not take care of the outstanding Shaw contract amount, you have to do it yourself.  Telus, so far, has refused to pay that amount, which is $562.26. The security camera monthly amount has been reduced as per my request but we only have one camera.

 

We are regretting switching to Telus very much.  It has been a huge hasell and we are certainly not feeling valued as a new Telus customer.  Yes, they do have a customer loyalty line but the loyalty seems to be for the Telus company, not for the customer at all!
