We have an elderly family member with dementia who is being harassed from another person. I have blocked their number on his handset as well as going to call control and entered the number there as well. The calls are still going through. This is a landline.
We went through this about a year ago. It took a few calls to Telus’ technical dept. They had to remove and then install the call control feature for us. Then it worked and the harassment of my MIL stopped.
I’ve reached out to Telus at the number listed above. They said I have to enter a * and some numbers on his handset. I live 2 hrs away. I’ve tried logging onto Telus.com to access call control there but when I click on “manage” under the home phone tab, the page just spins. I’ve tried it on the mytelus app and get the same result…page just spins. Very frustrating.
