Here's how to redeem your first 6 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ("XGPU") on us today! ¹

 

Once your TELUS PureFibre internet install is complete, simply follow the instructions below to get started with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Be the first to play new games on day one. Plus, enjoy hundreds of high-quality games with friends on console, PC and cloud.

 

1. If you haven't already, register for My TELUS - you'll need your account number which can be found on your order confirmation or customer service agreement.

2. Visit this link: http://www.telus.com/xboxgamepassultimate 

3. Select Add Now under the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan and the page will proceed to checkout.

4. On the checkout page, select the option to Add a promo code.

5. Enter the unique promo code sent to you by email and apply it.

6. Follow the checkout steps. Once complete, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to activate your XGPU account.

 

Have a pre-existing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account?

Not to worry! If you already have an XGPU account, just use the same email address to set up your account in My TELUS. Your existing account will transfer, your game progress will remain intact, and your billing will be transferred over to TELUS.

For additional details, including on billing and changes, please refer to the TELUS Subscriptions Platform Terms of Use, which is part of your agreement with TELUS. Pre existing Subscription: If you have a pre-existing subscription to Xbox directly (i.e. a subscription billed directly by Xbox and not through a third party) using the same email address prior to signing up with TELUS, you may be able to link your existing account via the activation email sent by TELUS.  Activation through TELUS will automatically pause your direct billing (applies to any subscription tier) and will resume when your agreement with TELUS ends. If you have an existing subscription to XGPU from a third party (e.g., app store purchases, other billing partners), you will need to manage your subscription with that third party to avoid duplicate subscriptions. If you wish to keep your existing XGPU subscription through a third party, then your XGPU subscription and that third party subscription will run concurrently and you will be charged for each subscription. Cancellation: You are able to cancel your XGPU subscription with TELUS at any time through your MyTELUS account. Upon cancellation, your subscription will stay active until the end of your billing period. If you are a Quebec subscriber, you’re able to cancel at any time and cancellation will be effective immediately. TELUS may also cancel your XGPU subscription, at our sole discretion without notice to you, if we suspect any fraudulent activity, misuse of your subscription or violation of these Terms or any applicable law by you.  Additionally, Microsoft may cancel your subscription to XGPU at any time in accordance with Microsoft’s applicable terms of use. No refund will be given in case of revocation. Once your XGPU subscription is canceled, if you had a pre-existing XGPU subscription that was paused when you activated your XGPU subscription, your previous subscription and billing directly with the related provider will then resume. After you cancel your XGPU subscription with TELUS, it is your responsibility to manage any subscription to XGPU that is billed directly by Xbox or via a third party.
