Prime Video on TELUS - June 2023
June is here already, friends! There's nothing better than kicking back after a great day and checking out that new movie your coworkers keep talking about, or checking out the latest episodes of your favourite series. Prime Video is the place to be for both, and next month brings a slew of great new content to dig into, including the return of a great spy thriller series. I can't wait!

Jack Ryan (Season 4)
Talk about a welcome surprise! Only six months after the third fantastic season dropped on Prime Video, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan returns for its fourth and final action-packed batch of episodes. This last season consists of six episodes, with each week dropping two new episodes until the epic finale on July 14. John Krasinski returns as the CIA spy Jack Ryan, now acting as the deputy director, on a mission to investigate drug cartels, terrorist organizations, and a stunning domestic conspiracy.
I'm a massive fan of Jack Ryan and there's a reason it's one of the most acclaimed Prime Video series ever. The plot twists and action are rarely matched. Krasinski is perfect in the titular role, Wendell Pierce brings plenty of humor, and the always amazing Michael Kelly steals almost every scene he's in. Word is for this final season that Jack, as the acting CIA deputy director, uncovers a conspiracy within his own government that can bring everything crashing down. I can't wait to see how it all plays out. You know where I'll be on June 30!

Citadel (Season 1)
Now here is a show you simply can't miss. The amazing first season of Citadel is now on Prime Video and I'd be lying if I said it took me some time to get through it. This is bingeworthy stuff here, friends...from the story to the charismatic leads, to the major cliffhangers that make me extremely excited that a second season has already been greenlit. Citadel stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as agents Mason and Nadia. Over eight years have passed since they had their memories erased, and after living 'normal' lives for almost a decade, a former colleague tracks them down and fills them in on who they once were.
Now, they have to reconvene to bring down the shadowy syndicate that not only took their organization down, but also threatens the entire world. The intrigue in this story is only half the story...the chemistry between the two leads is the other. There's equal amounts gorgeously shot action as there is humor, as these two not only grapple with who they really are and what they must now do...but how they balance the lives they've led for eight years with their past relationship. There's definitely a lot of style in this series, and fans of Jack Ryan and the James Bond movies should definitely check it out. The entire first season is streaming on Prime Video right now!
