Good Omens (Season 2)
Rejoice! The smash fantasy series Good Omens returns in July for a hilarious second season! Based on the hit novel by Neil Gaiman (Sandman), this story revolves around two unlikely friends, Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) as they reluctantly team up to stop Armageddon from taking over the planet. You see, Aziraphale is an angel, and Crowly is a demon...both of whom have actually grown fond of life on Earth and must coexist to help save the planet. Now, three years later after the first season, we find ourselves catching up with them as they team up with Gabriel (Jon Hamm) to continue their mission.
That looks amazing! While it is a fantasy series on paper, make no mistake about it...this is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen and it looks like this second season is going to be even better! The first episode drops on July 28; you'll know where I'll be!

Jury Duty
You're in for a treat with Jury Duty. Of course I'm referring to the new Prime Video series, not the real thing. On that premise however, lies the beauty of this mockumentary that is sure to leave you in stitches. Jury Duty chronicles the inner workings of a jury trial in the United States through the eyes of a normal everyday citizen, Ronald Gladden. He's called to perform his civic duty and thinks it's being filmed for an entirely different (and normal) reason, but what he doesn't know is that literally everyone else he comes across from the jurors to the judge to the defendant...are all actors. He's even blown away when he discovers superstar James Marsden (X-Men, Anchorman 2) is one of the other 'jurors'.
What Ronald doesn't know however is that everything he witnesses is planned. The show sets up some over-the-top things to occur in order to get a reaction out of him, and hilarity ensues. One part hidden-camera prank show, one part workplace comedy a la The Office, this is definitely bingeworthy comedy. The entire 8 episode series is now streaming on Prime Video, and I loved it. Be sure to check it out!
