Most Anticipated

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Finally! The sequel to Rian Johnson's smash hit Knives Out is here and I've been eagerly awaiting its release from the moment I heard about it. The original 2019 black comedy murder mystery film Knives Out came out of nowhere as one of the hits of the year, with its twisty plot and clever ending. Now, Daniel Craig returns as detective Benoit Blanc, taking on a new case. That means an entirely new star-studded cast, and everyone's a suspect on this island getaway!

In Glass Onion a tech billionaire invites his closest friends to a getaway on his ultra-private Greek island. When someone turns up dead however, Benoic Blanc is put on the case. The biggest selling point of the original film for me was the cast itself. A ton of massive movie stars came together, and compiled the funniest, quirkiest, and most sinister cast in quite some time. This looks to be the same, with other big names like Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, and Kathryn Hahn among others. I'm sure the twists and turns here will be ramped up even more than the first movie, and I can't wait to see whodunnit! Don't miss Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery when it drops on December 23!

What I'm Watching Now

Wednesday (Season 1)

I just started this series and so far it's everything I'd hoped for and more! I'm a huge Tim Burton fan and whenever he releases something new, it always moves to the top of my 'must-see' list. I'm also a huge fan of The Addams Family and can happily report that the vibe and dark humor of the movies continues here in this series. The casting is perfect, the story is intriguing, and I can't wait to see how the season unfolds!

Jenna Ortega is Wednesday Addams, a high school student at the frightful Nevermore Academy, where she's attempting to master her psychic powers, stop a monstrous killer on the loose, and solve the mystery that affected her family 25 years ago. Early in the season we learn exactly what that mystery is, and without spoiling it, I can tell you that it definitely is something you'll want to see explained. I found myself laughing at the dark humor a lot here, the writing is that good. If you're a fan of Burton or The Addams Family (and who isn't really?) then be sure to check out the entire first season!
