Telus Connect App...

The Telus Connect App will not connect to my router to control wifi devices. This is a must have if you have little people in your house.  I can see by other threads that this has been talked about for over a year... can anyone enlighten me to a fix other than accessing the router through a DNS number?

  • I appreciate the reply... I spoke with a Telus technician, they told me there is a Telus / Bell communication issue here in Ontario.  That there was no date on when the app issues would be resolved.  Then talked me through how to control the wifi using DNS, which is not practical... so no scheduling of devices.

    What bothers me most was that the sales person, who knocked on my door, told me the Connect App works just like the Bell app. We just switched away from Bell to save $30/month but unless the problem is addressed we'll not be keeping this service.

    I've had intermittent issues with the app and I suspect some of the issues are related to something on Telus' end. Try force quitting the app or trying again at a later time.
