Loyalty Discount Fiasco

I was sold a 500 mbps home internet by the sales by Telus claiming i would receive a 25% discount since i live in one of their partner communities. They said i won't see this discount on the email and would reflect on the Bill. When my first bill arrived, i did not see it. I called Telus, After spending around two hours in waiting and talking to 3 different teams, they were able to identify that the discount code got missed out when they set it up initially. Someone from their team said they would apply this discount and call me the next day. No call, no updates for a week. I call them again today, spend 2 hours again explaining the whole thing again to 4 different teams. Finally got to a team called Loyalty and then to another team called CST/ Discount team where i was told that the offer applies ONLY to 1 gig connections or above and was forced to upgrade. I finally did that and got through. So for no fault of mine, i spend 4 hours fixing Telus's tech gaps and sales mistakes. Get it together TELUS. Do better.
