Update: While I still have recieved no further communication from Telus, my internet went offline for a few minutes and when it came back, CGNAT was gone! I have been assigned a public IP and can resume my nerdy projects.
I guess that answers my (and hopefully a few of your) questions. Happy networking!

TELUS_Supportâ I'm having this same issue. Spent quite a bit of time today with AI agents before getting through to tech support that couldn't help resolve the issue. Could you please also get in touch with me!
The fibre product is generally awesome! Always getting advertised speeds, low latency, Very solid uptime. But dealing with contract renewals and tech support has typically been worse that tooth extraction at the dentist. đ±đ€

As of 1 month ago you can still request CGNAT removal if you can contact the right person. Most people at TELUS do not know what CGNAT, or their policy on it.
If you have difficulty getting CGNAT removal via TELUS_Support I encourage you to open a CCTS complaint under Section A.1, A.5, D.1, D.2, D.3, D.4 of the CRTC Internet Code. I was offered a 2 year free credit for a plan upgrade, but I rejected it as I already got CGNAT removed through the secret escalation procedure.
If you can convince a phone support agent to submit a ticket to the backend team requesting CGNAT removal, it will happen. The problem is phone tech support has no understanding of this issue.
