Porting problem
I have a bell number, have had it for 2.5 years and another bell customer had it before me, this is the number I use for my business so changing it now is not possible.
I tried to transfer it to my TELUS business account but TELUS says they can't do it, they somehow still have this number listed as a TELUS corporate number, the corporation has not existed for years, If bell has been using this number for all this time then it would have had to have been successfully released and ported out to them years ago.
I have spoken to at least 25 people from TELUS over the last 2 years and nobody seems to know how to fix this issue, they keep going back to saying they need someone from the Corporate account to release it, there is no one to do that anymore as that business no longer exists, this would have had to have already been done for Bell to be using the number, clearly it is a records issue on the TELUS side, how is it not possible for there to be no way of correcting this.

That's definitely a unique situation. Send a private message to our TELUS_Support account and we can see what we can get done about this.
