800 deposit when not in contract when got the phones new customer

Hi I ordered service on 10 of Sept of 4 lines . Moved from rogers to telus. Biggest mistake! 1st service is bad. Was under sky and looking for signal on London ontario . Complained them

Main issue: the telus rep never stated there is a 800 $ deposit fee. When I saw the bill of 1104$ . 1st bill. I was in shock!!!. Wtf is this?  I called the telus rep said. I ve sold so many and never had any issue like this . My credit score is excellent!. There is nothing in my contact stated i ve to pay the deposit fee. Nor the telus was aware of any like this. If it was. He would ve told me in advance !!

The telus rep was in shock too

I am in shock and disappointed!!

This feels like scamming ppl!

I need help to get this removed!!

    Hi there, A deposit may be applied after a credit evaluation, but we agree this should always be explained upfront at the time of sign-up. Since deposits are managed directly by our credit team, we aren’t able to remove or adjust them here.       Thank you for your reply. My credit score is excellent.  It was over 816! . Can give proof. The rep had checked it when placing the order . No such information wascshown. so why ruin it be turning on deposit at the time of delivery and not letting customer know at the time of placing order.this is wrong and technical glitcj in your app and telus fails to admit it! It is not in my contract either.

      Like I stated the rep said there was no such alert when he checked. So it's totally unfair!!
