Travelling / Roaming Questions
I recently changed my plan (after speaking to a rep) to '5G+ Complete' with $0 unlimited long distance pack (27 countries) as I will be travelling to Mexico (with a short business trip to the US) for 4 months.
I understood this package to mean that I will be able to use my cellphone as I do here in Canada - phoning/texting/etc with No roaming charges.
Looking on my Telus account online it does show that I have a '5G+ Complete' plan but it also shows 'Add EasyRoam' for travel.
Am I wrong? Am I not able to use my cell in Mexico as I do here in Canada with the '5G+ Complete' plan? Will I be getting roaming charges?
I'm understanding that 'Freedom Mobile' and 'Public Mobile' have great out-of-country plans that you do not have roaming charges. I am already with Telus and don't want to change unless I have to.

Are you referring to Bleubell's question? If so, after verifying their account info over PM and looking into their plan details we confirmed that their plan included full talk, text, and data coverage across Canada, the US, and Mexico. Which countries will you be travelling/roaming in HK?
I have the same question but am not able to receive a clear answer from TELUS support.
I have the TELUS 5G+ Complete Explore 250GB plan and my contract states that there are no additional roaming charges when traveling to any of the listed 68 international destinations.
"Talk, Text & Roaming: Unlimited talk, text, and data use in Canada and 68 international destinations, allowing you to use your phone and keep your Canadian number abroad without extra roaming charges."
However when I speak with the TELUS representative some have confirmed that this is correct while others inform me that I either need to add the Europe Easy Roam travel pass to be able to use date in Europe, while others have informed me that my plan will allow for data in Europe but that there will be an additional $5 per day roaming charge, and some have even told me that the additional roaming charge is $18 per day.
Does anyone have experience with traveling to Europe with this plan and are there no extra roaming charges added.
Under your plan it should tell you what countries are covered by your Easy Roam package, most are but some are not.
