I negotiated a new contract on July 7 for $152 per month tv and internet. Looked at my account today and there was a new contract on July 24 for over $170 per month with the addition of detour mini offer, and National Geographic mini offer, added to the contract that I didn’t authorize . Anybody else having an issue similar to this? Logged into the My Telus app this morning and instead of seeing "unable to retrieve your information" for Optik TV as I usually do, I see $199 worth of services we are not signed up for, and have NEVER been signed up for: You Pick 8 plus 10 Add Ons. When I log into the website for our account, Optik TV services are listed correctly: Essentials plus 2 add on channels @ $58 monthly. I can only assume this is a mistake on the My Telus app, as is so often the case. Please confirm what amount we will be billed for on the next cycle. I can assure you, that if you try billing us for $199 worth of products we never signed up for, I will cancel every service we have with you so fast, your heads will spin. I have had issues with this app since I started using it ages ago. It's glitchy and almost completely useless. It boasts such amazing features - schedules, device-blocking, content-blocking and so much more! - but it rarely works. I either get a notice that it can't connect (which is fun because it's literally the name of the app), or I can set schedules and turn off access to certain devices, only to find my kids still using them with complete success. This is a problem for me. I pause the WiFi to my daughter's phone (she does not have data through a provider, so the only way she can get online is via WiFi - and all of my neighbours have locked access, so she's not getting on theirs) because she likes to text me at work all day for important things like "do we have any snacks" or "check out this TikTok". Yesterday, she texted me all day long again, and even though I checked the app and it was like YEP EVERYTHING'S GOOD THIS PHONE IS DEFINITELY PAUSED, everything was not good, and the phone was not paused. During the summer, I go to bed before my kids because they are no longer in school, and I shut off the WiFi for their phones and the iPad. It's all on one of those awesome schedules, which the app showed as active and working, but are actually neither of those things. The home screen even showed the devices as paused. Except - I have a secondary app that shows me what apps they are using and for how long, and it let me know that they were on their phones until after 2am. Good stuff. Does anyone know of an app that isn't this one that will actually do what I need this one to do? First of all, I had no issues with my PIN initially installing it onto my primary computer at home; however, I am now using my laptop and had decided to install "Uncle Norton" to make use of the 1 of 2 devices that can be installed. Upon installation and logging into my account, it asked for the 13 digit PIN that Telus gives you, I, then enter the PIN (several times) and the error message says, "The PIN you entered is invalid. Check your entry and try again." Hi, Has anyone encountered this issue when returning their Telus internet equipment after their contract ends? Item was out for delivery on Jul 28 and expected delivery was Jul 30. Status then changed to "Item delayed — stay tuned for updates" today. Not sure what my next steps should be, do I contact Telus or Canada Post? Just don't want to be on the hook for not returning the equipment. I packaged the equipment (modem, cables, and power brick) in a box, took a picture of all the content in the box along with piece of paper with my account number, address, name, and phone number as per return instructions. I ported my number from Bell to Telus last night in store and it wouldn't activate. The store clerk told me to call Customer Support the next day (today) because they were closed. I called today using someone else's phone to find out there was an error when porting my number over and the issue needs to be dealt with by the tier 2 support team which can take 7-10 business days! I leave for the US tomorrow and I don't have a phone functioning phone (I got the US and Can roaming planning for this reason). Has anyone else had a ticket escalated to this tier and did it actually take 7-10 business days? Hey, Recently activated my Telus Business Mobility account - prior to doing so I asked about transferring my number from a EPP account that I was using previously and was told that it would be no problem. I tried calling in to the 611 number to begin the process... Long story short I was sent to EPP to initiate the process.. which I believe now was an ownership transfer. I had to essentially start another plan for this number because my new account was not 90 days old??? Right now I have the TELUS Mobility business account with the 2 lines I wanted too have - 1 of which I was going to transfer the number to the one I have been using for the past 16+ years. I have my original number transferred to this account but on its own business plan now. The 2 lines on the business account apparently are activation plans and I signed up one of the lines with the Pixel 8 and the numbers can't be touched because they aren't 90 days old??? I am stuck paying for this additional plan for 90 days I guess? the other option was to leave it on the other account for 90 days or cancel the lines I just started and do what I did today but the line was going to be more expensive?? The call back feature isn’t working. Every time I select to use this feature, I’m told that I’ll receive a call back. When my phone rings for the call back, I answer it and then the system gives me the message that should be given if it reaches my voicemail.
