I spoke with a representative who claimed to be from the Loyalty department. I called Telus. I'm guessing she was offshore. So I hear a dog barking in the background and I ask her why is there a dog barking in the background and she tells me that she is working from home. This is highly unprofessional for a major telecommunications company. Who wants to hear extraneous sounds like this when conducting business? Credits started disappearing from my bill and while there were numerous credits with an effective date of February 18, 2025 to February 17, 2026, one of these credits actually disappeared from my bill. The rep had no clue about it and was trying to convince me that the credit expired notwithstanding the fact that all other credits with the same dates were still on the current bill. It amazes me that these people are allowed to work from home, obviously with no support and such a lack of knowledge. So she gave me a price which was triple what I was paying and then changed it to double to what I was paying on my monthly bill. Does Telus really expect someone to pay double what they were previously paying on their bill for home services? I asked her what was the procedure for returning the equipment and again, she had no clue and said that information is provided if I give her a cancellation date. I guess my question is to know if there is any way of reaching out to get someone competent and knowledgeable with whom to discuss this. I would have just cancelled then and there but I need to arrange replacement services first and somehow I am hoping that this individual is not a reflection of Telus' service standards. Is there any way to get a local manager to call me?145Views0likes8CommentsLocking former customers out of bills
After being a long-time Telus customer, I made the decision to move to Rogers because it was a better deal this time. I've always liked Telus, mostly for the excellent customer service, but this is a nightmare. Roger made the cancellation for me when I switched. I went to go check my Telus bill as I wanted to confirm my last bill was handled properly, as I prepaid for the month and was owed a refund on my unused time, but I am completely locked out of my bills and the telus app. Everywhere I look on Telus, it says that I should be able to see my bills from the last 18 months. Even the AI helper says that I should be able to access these bills. I don't think it's too much to be able to see your last bill or at the very least have it sent to you. Is there a way to get the bill with the cancellation and calculation of the return on it? I tried to include a screen cap of my account, but shocker, not working. Basically, my account says that it's cancelled and there's no way to manage or check bills. The app locks me out because my account is not active.85Views0likes2CommentsStream+ subscription double charge
I subscribed to stream + via EPP back in November. First day on November 6th, I was charged twice. I called in, and the agent provided credit towards my cellphone bill (which is with EPP as well). Next cycle, on December 6th I was charged twice again. Spoke to an agent for over an hour and the agent couldn’t resolve. Advised to submit a support form and should hear back within 10 business days. no reply, called EPP support 3rd time. Agent couldn’t resolve and offered credit towards my cellphone bill. She advised she will escalate but so far has hear nothing. can someone please advise / help on this matter???85Views0likes4CommentsMade my first payment to the wrong account which is now deactivated
As the title says I recently started and account for my wife and made the first payment fairly quickly when I got the bill. I signed into My Telus account and saw the bill was still outstanding, it took my a bit to realize that I had accidentally paid the 171$ to my old Telus account from nearly 5 years ago. I attempted to sign in and access the account but it has been deactivated and the payment has gone through and can’t be cancelled through my bank. From a past post I saw that you can transfer the transaction to my new account is that possible?88Views0likes2CommentsClosed account
I transferred my mobility plan to another provider. Telus immediately closed my account. I want to pay my final bill. I have tried, Chat, Telephone and X to talk to someone but as my account number no longer works their AI will not connect me to anyone. Telus has to be the the most difficult company to reach to pay a bill in the western hemisphere. So far I have spent over an hour trying to pay the final bill. Any chance anyone here has a contact email for someone there so I can get a copy of my final bill and pay it? Thanks,Solved178Views0likes2CommentsBill overdue errors
I've noticed a pretty concerning trend with my telus mobility and internet bills, where my account will show my account is overdue just as a new billing cycle commences. I've tried the good ole log-out log-in trick, but alas I am stressed out of my mind that I am late for a payment I have already made every month. This overdue error is doubly confusing as I use pre-authorized payments. Here is my anxiety-inducing dashboard (still showing October's bill, despite Nov 15th being the new bill cycle): and here is my very contradictory transaction history, showing the bill was paid on the 31st (and the existence of a November bill that I do not have a statement for): Any fixes for this? I've called in before and have just been told to wait a few days and to check again, and by then it is usually resolved (just at the expense of my sanity). I can't help but feel that if the shoe was on the other foot Telus's payment department wouldn't exactly accept me paying them out of whack with the excuse of "just trust me bro".142Views1like1CommentPartner passed away, need to cancel his account
What do I need to do to cancel my partner’s account? He passed away a few weeks ago and said that I won’t be able to cancel it until after he’s gone and I can bring a death certificate. I don’t mind going to the nearest store to do this, I just don’t want to forget something and have to go back and forth. I already have so much to do since his passing. I’d like to get this taken care of quickly. thanks in advance156Views0likes5CommentsOld Account Sent to Collections
Okay, Eric from the Telus reddit said to post here, so this is pretty much my final attempt to get this resolved. Back in 2021-22 I had a Home Security account. I closed it in March of 2022, and received my final bill for $0.00 in June 2022. I have an email copy of this bill and a livechat agent confirmed the cancellation date for me a few days ago, since I didn't have an email record of that (I had cancelled over the phone). A few weeks ago I started receiving collections emails from General Credit Services saying I owe Telus $300 on that account. I have no idea where this came from or why it's sent to collections as I haven't received any communication from Telus about any outstanding balance. Since then, when I try to get info GCS and Telus are just bouncing the issue back and forth. The Telus livechat can't access my info because it was sent to collections. The collections company initially said they'd send a bill but never did, and now refuses to help because "Telus doesn't send bills for recently closed accounts." When I pointed out that it was closed 3.5 years ago they just said "the only way we'll stop harassing you is if you get Telus to say you don't owe anything." I really need someone who is able to see this account info to call or chat with me. I strongly suspect this was a billing error that got way out of hand, considering my last bill was $0 and I never heard from telus about cancellation fees or returned equipment not arriving at their warehouse. But if I can't get someone to talk to me about this I literally have no choice but to wait until the collection appears on my credit report and then file a dispute with all agencies. I have been trying for weeks to resolve this, but I really cannot just be sending a random company hundreds of dollars without knowing why. Plus, if there is some weird billing issue, paying GCS might not even solve it and then I'll be doing this all over again in a few months. Anyway...Eric, you told me to post here, so help me out please.81Views0likes1Comment
