Admin Login to Telus Wifi 6 Access Point & Device wont connect.
So I just got Pure Fibre. Its all hooked up & working well. But I have a problem that a couple of devices only can only connect to the 2.4 (or whatever) bandwidth. So my research has told me that supposedly if you login to the Modem, you can change the connection setting for that particular device. So with my previous modem I was able to figure out how to get into the Modem, by going to 192.168.1.254 IP Address and logging in as "admin". And using the password on the modem/ Telus Wifi 6 Access Point or a password I created. But I try & try & try & I keep on not being able to login. Can anyone enlighten me66KViews0likes4CommentsRoaming- Turn off on App gone. Telus's craven greed
So my family is in Europe for 2 weeks. I am having them each get a Euro Sim card at a cost of $6 for 2 weeks, as opposed to the colossal rip off that Telus would charge for those 2weeks of $225 (like how's that even possible). But in order to ensure I don't pay the roaming charges it used to be that I could turn off data roaming for each phone through the app. But that option has just now disappeared (geez I wonder why Telus), and I am stuck hoping, praying, that my kids will actually turn off roaming themselves on their phone and get the Sim cards. I have now been on the phone with Telus for over 45 minutes to see if there is a work around. It now appears there is not. Unbelievable. I'm going back to Rogers. Or maybe Some US carrier. I just cannot believe how I cannot cancel a service that I don't want.3.3KViews1like3CommentsRe: Scheduling- Can someone explain to me...
I understand that. But in this case, Live at the US Open was on (in the States) before there was any US Open Coverage on in Canada.(on TSN). In the past it was never an issue. We would get Live at the Whatever even as there was early coverage on TNN or whatever it was. Just pisses me off we miss out on coverage that we pay for.3.1KViews0likes0CommentsScheduling- Can someone explain to me...
Why, on the Golf Channel, there is supposed to be "Live from the US Open" (not on the schedule, but if I wasnt in Canada), but here in Canada all we are getting is a bunch of re-runs of junk programming. Its infuriating. Theres no reason I can see for it.3.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: WiFi to iPhone 7 with iOS 13 Will Not Stay Connected to T3200M Router
Yeah, all i know is this. The problem is only with my 2 iPhones & 1 iPad. Not with TV's, laptops ...etc. Wifi connection shows very strong on phone, but will have trouble/wont connect on occasion. Wheel is spinning. What "fixes" it very temporarily is switching to another wifi channel, turning wifi off/on or turning phone off/on. Me knowing nothing and using my powers of deduction thinks the modem/router does not like the iPhone12KViews1like2CommentsRe: WiFi to iPhone 7 with iOS 13 Will Not Stay Connected to T3200M Router
EXACTLY my issue. My Telus wifi was excellent until I bundled everything & I got Optilk TV. Since then for some strange reason, only with my sons & my iPhone do we have trouble with Wifi. Often/all the time I have to either turn the wifi off/on or change the network to get it to connect. Then it works for awhile. But then same old, same old for no apparent reason. No problems with the TV's, laptops anything. Just with the iphones and ipad to a degree. So I went ahead & got the boosters (hoping that will fix the problem) which I hooked up but then unhooked cause I didn't want to have to sign into 15 or so devices (btw, do I have to connect to the booster on all my devices or can I keep some/any/all connect to the 5g, or 2.4 network even while the booster is hooked in & powered up?). So I think it must be something quirky about Apple products & the Optk TV modem. Btw, can someone walk me through "I’ve had problems with iPhone and hidden SSID in the past. Just use a good password.". What does this mean/how to do this?19KViews0likes9CommentsRe: Telus Boost Network Connection Dropping on iPhone XR and MacBook Pro
