A couple months ago we got a call from Telus offering us a better rate on our cell phones, and were given a free camera. Never did they mention having to pay anything, they framed it as a free addition, a promotion that wills a gift and no strings attached. I never used the system and never agreed to anything, they just sent the camera and charged me for a service I never used. When I called, they told me there is a $450 cancellation fee! For a service I never signed up for! I was lied to by the representative. What can I do about this? I am at the point where I want to cancel all my services with Telus as I felt mislead by the rep. When I google Telus scam, this pops up, and multiple people indicate they had the same service and complaints about the free camera that was never free. Telus, fix this for me.
