Will my OptikTV service break by setting a Static IP for the IPTV Boxes?

I have a Telus T3200M Router/Modem and 2 of the OptikTV boxes in my house.

I'm currently trying to clean up my home network by setting static IP addresses for certain devices. I wanted to just check and make sure that if I were to remove the DHCP Reservations in my router for the 2 OptikTV boxes and set them to different IPs that everything would still work as expected.

I know that this probably sounds super straight-forward, but I'm just worried that I'll knock out our TV service.

The Optik boxes do not have a reserved IP address by default on the T3200M. I don't think the Optik service cares what the IP address is.

Alright, sweet! I didn't think it would matter too much, but I just thought I'd ask as there was a DHCP reservation already set long before I started doing my own.

Thanks so much!
