Shows are being shown as scheduled to record, but they aren't recording. This has happened sporadically lately. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Both, unfortunately. And some recorded shows abruptly end before the true ending. Some also freeze for a few moments.
The shows ending abruptly or freezing could be a sign that the hard drive is acting up. Might wish to schedule an appointment with Telus to have the PVR looked at.
I have on occasion seen this happen. I've tried various things but the best solution for me has been to just reschedule the show.
TY. I've done that when it was possible, like if it's in a series. But many of the ones not in a series don't have another time/date to choose. I'm beginning to wonder if I need a new PVR. I also do the unplug PVR/modem reboot.
