The problem was resolved with a new wireless digital box from Telus. Not a cloud based box. Just a regular replacement.

This also began happening to me immediately after upgrading to the new router and booster WiFi 6. My upgrade was mid October 2024. Next step, get on with Telus tech support.

Have never had this problem. It may be due to using ethernet instead of WIFI for TV

The problem occurs on wireless boxes, so your observation is most likely correct. Are you suggesting that the solution to this problem is to run an ethernet cable to the problematic Telus boxes? I'm glad that I did not need to install an ethernet cable. For us the problem was resolved with a new wireless digital box from Telus.

No the only Ethernet cable goes from my pvr to the router/booster, There appears to be no real problem with the pvr, it is a problem with communication between our wireless digital boxes and our PVR. The only thing that changed in our move was the router/wifi tower.

Yes I am suggesting that you try that as an elimination test. On a different note I am on my third box and now have found it was the power cord that caused the issue by not providng enough output to operate the whole circuit board. Voltage test was the same with new/old cords until plugged in, only the new cord would operate the old box.
Your issue may be related, I suspect WIFI needs more power than ethernet.

Interesting. I have heard a few reports of failed/flakey power supply bricks. For those with some boxes that don't exhibit the issue, I wonder if the issues follows the power brick if they are swapped.

YES. When I received #3 I plugged it into the #2 power cord already in place. Did not boot, just a white light constant. Changed #2 to #3 power cord and it booted immediately. After all was set up I unplugged #3 and plugged in #2 which immediately booted. New cord worked on both, maybe that was the problem with #1.
To confirm I again plugged in the swapped to #2 power cord and neither box #2 or #3 would go past white light.
Checked output which was supposed to be 12VDC and found 11.6VDC on both, a head scratcher indeed. The only answer is once plugged in the power supply cannot give enough to operate. I am expecting #3 power cord to fail since it is only 11.6VDC brand new.
Still waiting for Telus to send me a new power supply and keep the 2nd tuner as a reward for finding this problem. If they pay attention they only need to send out a power supply to anyone with a similar problem.

I have not tried different power cords with different telus boxes. I have only ever used the power cord that came with the particular telus box. A power brick should have both voltage and maximum current printed on it. If the power brick cannot provide the necessary current required by a device then that device will not operate properly. Check the maximum current of your power bricks. Presumably the telus box should also have a voltage and required current printed on it.
