Am I the Only One with Audio Sync Issues on Optik TV - TelusTV-21T?

I have the Optik TV TelusTV-21T android box with HDMI connected directly to an LG OLED 65" TV (CX).

I have exhausted adjusting all sound settings on the TV and on the Telus Optik TV box and still need to reboot the Optik TV box daily to get audio to sync up - it drifts off if TV is left on for longer durations - until sound is over a full word off of the screen.

Using the remote to turn the TV and TelusTV-21T off and back on does not fix the issue, nor does changing channels.

The only fix has been rebooting the Optik TV box.

Am I the only one?

No you are not alone.

What has worked for me is turn off or on surround sound. The issue was posted before and it depends on the broadcast which switch works

You're definitely not the only one! It sounds like a common issue with some HDMI connections or software on the Telus box. A workaround could be to try a different HDMI port or cable. Also, check if there's a firmware update for either the TV or the Telus box. Rebooting should not be the only solution, so it might be worth contacting Telus for a permanent fix. CredibleBH

Found a work-around.
I had tried all audio option combinations on the LG and TelusTV-21T on my HDMI2 port.
However @Consoul mentioned trying a different port and thanks for this, as I moved to HDMI1 port and video/audio sync is now good.

HDMI2 on an LG OLED CX is the only port that provides ARC/eARC support (although I have it disabled).
I've used HDMI2 since I bought the TV and it worked perfectly on Shaw and has had issues since moving to Telus.  It's had acceptable audio drift up until the last few updates - now it's crazy bad.

Glad I found a work-around by using a non-ARC/eARC HDMI port (HDMI1).

That never occurred to me that HDMI ports 1-3 may have different profiles.
