I had Telus Optik installed 4 days ago. No issues with installation and I am generally happy with everything. The sales rep mentioned that Telus would set me up with some default theme packs and I would be able to change them once everything was set up.
So I did that on Thursday. I dropped one of the theme packs that didn’t look interesting and replaced it with the Sportsnet theme pack. But the Sportsnet channels don’t appear on my channel listings on my tv.
When I look at MyTelus online, it does show that I have selected Sportsnet on the “Customize your Optik TV package” page and it confirmed the change when I originally made my selection. However, it doesn’t show up on the page that shows “Your included channels”; that page shows only the themepacks that were given to me by default.
Is there any reason why the changes I made to my themepacks haven’t shown up on my tv channel listings?
