I recently cancelled my TELUS home internet which results in losing my TELUS email account, now I’m trying to change my email in my account profile to my gmail but the system won’t let me change it. It says I have to call, well I don’t want to spend two hours on hold just to change my email address. For a company that sells online technologies they sure make things difficult
I think you need access to the old email address in order to confirm the change to a new email address. It's to protect you from someone highjacking your account.
