Problem Linking new service

Hi - my wife just ordered fibre internet (in her name) and when she setup a new profile and tried to link a new service, it said her account had been canceled. We had Telus at this address years ago, but this is a new account with a new number, etc. - does the old one have anything to do with it?

Maybe it’s on there end bc I also set up fibre internet and can’t link my account as well maybe gotta wait till they come to install it but I’m at a loss on why it’s ain’t linking as well you not the only one.
